One is metal-asbestos cylinder gasket. This asbestos is sandwiched with metal wires or metal shavings, and is coated with copper or steel. The thickness of the steel gasket is 1.2~2mm, which has good elasticity and heat resistance. , Can be used repeatedly, but the strength is poor, the thickness and quality are not uniform.
The other is made of solid metal sheet. This kind of gasket is mostly used to strengthen the engine, and it is mostly used in cars and racing cars. This kind of gasket is punched out around the cylinder hole and the water hole and the oil hole that need to be sealed. A certain height of embossing uses the elastic deformation of the embossment to achieve sealing. 　　 In addition, there are cylinder head gaskets that are made of asbestos and rubber adhesive on both sides of the skeleton using steel wire mesh or perforated steel plate woven at the center.
The performance of the damage of the cylinder head gasket is that the diesel engine is difficult to start, the water tank has bubbles, and the oil is emulsified. When replacing the cylinder head gasket, check whether the two contact surfaces of the cylinder head gasket are smooth and clean.
